In 2015, I was elevated by the Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee to the status of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) – equivalent to a QC in the UK.
Apart from being a Chartered Secretary, I am also a Chartered Arbitrator
The doctorate degree is in the area of International Commercial Arbitration.


Activities performed: Nigerian law team leader; contributed to the following work plan tasks:
• Review and Update Existing Due Diligence Reports
• Reviewed the Bid Documents
• Reviewed draft transaction agreements
• Provided sundry legal advice
Name of Assignment: Privatization Support Programme (PSP) to the Federal Government of Nigeria
Year: 2004-2009 funded by the World Bank and UK Department for International Development (DFID)
Location: Abuja
Client: Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE)/National Council on Privatization (NCP). The NCP is headed by His Excellency, the Vice-President of Nigeria and made up of key economic ministers, Secretary to the Fed Government and Attorney General of the Federation.
Main project features: Advising the Federal Government of Nigeria through the National Council on Privatization/Bureau of Public Enterprises on privatisation strategies/method; drafting of transaction documents (Information Memorandum, Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement, Request for Proposals, Share/Sale and Purchase Agreement, Asset Sale,
